    OpenScan Mini Building Manual?

    Hello there,

i just bought the newly released OpenScan Mini, but i don't know how to put all the parts together.

In general this mashine isn't too complicated and i have an idea where to put things...

But in detail i'm not quite sure...

    - wich side of the stepper-motor cables has to be put on the pi shield (blak cable to north/south)? - wich side of the pi-cam ribbon cable has to go into the pi (blue side in direction of the big USB connectors)? - there are a few different screw types. wich goes where? - where do the two metal rods go? - the hole of the object table do not fit on the stepper motor - my printers fault?

    thanks in advance!

Hi Sebastian, it took me longer then expected to write the manual, but here we go: https://f86f3340-fde8-4577-a319-4f2c4f699e69.filesusr.com/ugd/953640_106938bb8b8f46f28969e2d55024bd1d.pdf

The orientation of the stepper motor cables does not matter.

The blue side of the ribbon cable should face the usb ports.

Concerning the screw types: see the manual (M3x8 can be used everywhere)

The kit contains some more parts (metal rods, m3x12, nuts ...) which might be used for the other scanner build.

The object table hole might need some drilling (it really depends on the printer and I am currently gathering feedback on the tolerances, so yours is to tight?)

Let me know, if you need something else :)
