Update 20.20.4 - strange camera window

    Hello,

I just installed the 20.20.4 update of the software for the PI and when I'm using the program I'm getting extra preview screens and buttons. Location of the buttons depends on the magnification. Examples:

I don't know if other users are experiencing this too, but jsut to let you know.

Best regards, Ming-Hua P.s. thanks for making all this available

To add, I've tested on Opera, Chrome and Firefox on a Windows 10 computer.

Yes, I still don't know, how to 100% fix this. You just need to click on camera --select-- on the very top left border. I don't know, why it is sometimes displaying all different menus at once. After clicking on that button, only the according menu should be visible.

Ok, thanks. That seems to work. Upgrading to the new version for testing now.

by the way, i am currently working on the updated manual for this version. I changed the whole navigation menu to incorporate the USB-Camera support. There will be an update of the manual soon :)

By the way, just in case you are wondering. The picture of the scan is upside down in the menu because I made a more compact version of the scanner and needed to mount the camera upside down not to twist the cable. So that is not an error. :)

Seeing the picture reminds me, that you will probably need some kind of chalk/dust to cover the surface in order to create features

Thanks. I was already thinking of that. When all is set I will be scanning master sculpts of miniatures and most epoxy putties are hard to photographs. Especially green stuff. So, I'll be trying talcum powder and I'll experiment with lighting set-ups. I'm designing a system for that right now. I'll report back on that when it all works.
